Montana Fouts struck out 12 batters, a new AUSL single-game record, as the Utah Talons handled the Texas Volts behind a complete-game effort.
Fouts has now thrown a league-leading number of innings while pacing the AUSL in strikeouts, and Utah continues to look like the class of the league heading into the second half.
Bri Ellis added a pair of hits and drove in two, extending her on-base streak and keeping her among the batting-average leaders.
